Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your account and personal data from the RS Buildcon Site Inspection app (com.rsbuildcon.siteinspectionapp). It is provided in line with the data-deletion disclosure requirements of the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
1. Who this applies to
You can request deletion if you are, or have been, a registered user of the App, for example a Site Engineer, Manager, Accountant, Admin, or other team member of an organisation that uses the Service.
If you are an Admin and you want the whole organisation’s data deleted, see Section 5 below.
2. What gets deleted
When we process a verified deletion request for an individual user, we remove or anonymise:
- Your profile: name, email, phone number, role, avatar.
- Your Firebase authentication record: your login is disabled.
- Your device tokens: you stop receiving push notifications.
- Your session history.
- Your notification preferences.
What is retained (and why)
Operational records that you authored, material requests, receipts, attendance entries, bills, payments, reports, photos, are part of your organisation’s business records and audit trail and are owned by that organisation. We do not delete them when an individual user leaves, because doing so would break the organisation’s compliance and dispute-resolution position.
Instead, your name on those historical records is replaced with “Removed user” so the records remain intact but no longer identify you personally.
If you want those records deleted as well, the request must come from an Admin of the organisation that owns them (see Section 5).
3. How to request deletion
- Send an email to rsbuildcon7272@gmail.com or developer.nhjoshi@gmail.com from the email address registered with your account.
- Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”.
- In the body, include:
- Your full name as registered in the App.
- Your registered email address and / or phone number.
- The name of the organisation(s) you belong to in the App.
- Optionally, the reason for the request (not mandatory).
- We will reply within 3 working days to confirm receipt and verify your identity.

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
5. Organisation-wide deletion
If you are an Admin and you want the entire organisation removed from the platform, including projects, attendance, materials, bills, payments, reports, photos, and members, email rsbuildcon7272@gmail.com or developer.nhjoshi@gmail.com with the subject “Organisation Deletion Request” from your registered Admin email.
We will:
- Confirm receipt within 3 working days.
- Verify your authority over the organisation account.
- Provide a final data export on request (CSV / Excel) before deletion.
- Delete all organisation data from active systems within 30 days of confirmed instruction.
- Purge data from active backups within 90 days.
Some financial and audit records may be retained for a longer period where required by Indian tax, GST, or accounting law.
6. After deletion
Once deletion is complete:
- You will no longer be able to sign in.
- You will not receive notifications.
- Your name will be replaced with “Removed user” on any historical records that belong to your organisation and remain in their books.
If you change your mind, you will need to be re-invited by an organisation Admin and register again from scratch.
